Mid-Level Electrical Engineer

Baron has an opening for a mid-level electrical engineer with a BSEE or equivalent and a minimum of 3 years of work experience post-graduation.   The candidate will work closely with a small team of engineers on a wide variety of projects.  Candidate should have a desire to learn new skills in many areas.

Experience in the following areas is desired:

  • RF Components and Design
  • Radar Systems
  • Board Level Digital and Analog Design (PCB Layout)
  • Linux Operating System

Responsibilities may include:

  • High level and subsystem design of weather radar systems (transmitters, antennas, RF receivers, power supplies, etc.)
  • Testing radar hardware and software using RF Test Equipment
  • Linux, C++, Java software development
  • Engineering documentation (ICDs, Schematics, Test Procedures, etc.)
  • Troubleshooting support for Radar Technicians (remote and on-site)

Occasional domestic and international travel to radar customer sites may be required

  • Position can be remote with travel up to 50% of the time

International Sales Representative

Baron is seeking an International Sales Representative. Baron provides comprehensive weather solutions to clients globally including radar, data integration, displays, value added weather data, weather modeling (including numerical weather prediction, air quality, and hydrological modeling) as well as alerting and public outreach solutions. Previous international sales experience with government agencies and local agents is important. Meteorological and/or Engineering background is also important. Positions requires extensive travel abroad. Foreign language skills are a plus.
