For 2016, InterMET Asia and Baron have joined forces to present The Weather Radar Workshop. Designed for non-technical executives and civil servants, the workshop will give you a working knowledge of this increasingly important technology and its role in the forecasting, management and mitigation of weather risks.

The workshop features live and video presentations from leading experts in radar technology. You will learn about:

  • Radar transmitters and frequencies for each type of weather environment
  • Advancements in auto-calibration and clutter suppression
  • Best practices in site selection
  • Principles and applications of dual-polarization radar
  • Radar as the centerpiece of an integrated system
