Built into your Threat Net subscription, Baron Pinpoint Alerting automatically sends you a notification any time severe weather approaches any of your custom-selected locations. You choose the alerts you want to receive. It’s a vital heads-up on the weather-related threats to your region of responsibility.
Alert types include:
- Exclusive Baron alerts for severe storms and tornadoes
- Proximity alerts for approaching lightning, hail, snow and rain
- National Weather Service warnings
You can receive alerts directly on the map as a pop-up window, plus through text message and email. The locations for which you want to receive alerts—local schools, hospitals and the like—can be configured within the Baron Threat Net website.
