With the variety of ways to be reached, Baron makes sure app users never miss critical weather information. Just as importantly, only people in the path of a storm receive storm notifications—if they’re not affected, they’re not alerted.

A Comprehensive View of Weather
App users can stay aware of severe storms, wind shear, as well as tornado possibilities accompanied by a Baron Tornado Index (BTI) ranking with exclusive Baron alerts. In addition to Baron exclusive alerts, app users are instantly alerted to watches and warnings issued by the National Weather Service. BTI alerts are also provided through email and SMS.
